Federal Retirement Planning, Built for Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs is Colorado’s second-largest city and home to several major military installations: Peterson and Schriever Space Force Bases, Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station, the U.S. Air Force Academy and the Army’s Fort Carson. Each employs federal civilians alongside service members.

Many federal civilians here have prior military service. That time can count toward your FERS pension if you pay a military deposit before you leave federal service. If you already receive military retired pay, you generally have to waive it to get that credit, unless it’s based on a combat-related disability or reserve retirement.

U.S. Space Command began moving its headquarters from Colorado Springs to Redstone Arsenal in Alabama in April 2026, a move expected to take several years. If you’re weighing relocation against retirement, your pension, FERS Supplement and TSP numbers belong in that decision.

We have an office in Colorado Springs for in-person meetings by appointment, and our main office is in Englewood. We also meet by video.

We help you decide when to retire, what your FERS or CSRS pension will be, how to draw from your TSP, how FEHB will work with Medicare, and which survivor and life insurance elections fit your family.
